MONARK
1972
100MX- Ultimate barn find right here in AZ of one of the most expensive 100cc MX bikes ever made. This bike
is 100% correct and original down to it's barely used original Metzler's. Still has original factory warning sticker
on rear fender. Strangely, this bike appears to have possibly only 1-2 HOURS of use most likely due to: kickstart shaft broken
at point where it bolts on to exterior at combo shift/kick shaft (I have kickstarter and it's included), and non-motoplat
(Bosch) coil was disconnected so there may be a possible electrical issue? Missing only it's original front number
plate, otherwise this bike is ALL ORIGINAL, ALL THERE, AND EXCELLENT. All chrome, paint, original cables, bars, bar mounted
choke lever, chromed kill button, airbox and rubber manifold, Ceriani forks (no leaks), gray bodied Girlings (excellent damping
& no leaks), ALL EXCELLENT. Motor turns and shifts freely with excellent compression. Clutch actuation is smooth and shifts
through all 6 gears. Original adjustable/folding foot pegs are excellent. Original pipe has one small ding in bottom. All
original vinyl airbox shrouds and seat cover (unusual non-ribbed and no chrome strip at base of sides) still excellent. Original
airbox is all there and excellent. Will need: new fuel tank rubber knee pads (rotted) and new Monark stickers on tank (missing). Original
Magura grips, early straight levers, trap door throttle, steel painted fenders, Sachs wheels w/Akronts, chain and sprockets,
all original and excellent. Inside of fuel tank is very clean w/no rust, but outside has a few paint chips visible. All original
paint. Original fuel cap and petcocks (with clear plastic fuel bowls underneath) still excellent. These 100'S are IMPOSSIBLE
to find in any condition, let alone in orig. condition such as this. According to the Monark registry, this may be the only
100MX found to date? and who knows how many were actually made?----- Frame #3954. Engine type 'A' Fichtel &
Sachs #1251/5A. 122 cm (de-stroked and de-bored 125). Engine #5499649. Numbers '27.5' hand scribed onto exterior
of Bing carb. Numbers at base of cylinder: 0613 107 000. ALL bolts have either 'BUFO 88' or 'RLT 88' on them.--- You
may be looking at one of the rarest vintage MX bikes ever produced and price is $9,950.00 firm

1968 Husqvarna Viking 250MX-
This is a very rare (MF-1500) and nice original bike that could use a resto. Bike is all there but is missing it's
original fenders (has plastic now) and tank (has aluminum Hi-point on it now). No rust, motor has spark and great compression.
'Rocket' engine cases w/no numbers. Kick start shaft needs work (new NOS pieces included). Purportedly Russ Darnell's competiton
bike, but no documentation to support that. A very valuable bike when completed, and an easy restoration. $2,500.00
1972 Husqvarna
250WR - Here's a cool AZ desert sled that's almost all original (with
the following exceptions): Has P.P. vintage plastic fenders on it now, vintage Curnutt shocks (will need rebuilding--I can
do this for you for an extra $250.00). BIG desert knobbies: 3.50x21 front and 5.10x18 rear. Has OEM skidplate and nice CR
(non spark arrestor) pipe. Original inner fender and chrome chain guide are very nice. One ding in (original paint) tank on
right, small tear at right rear of original seat cover, very little wear on frame. Akront wheels, grey forks (do not leak),
original straight Husky bars, orig. Magura controls, orig. alum. airbox, all excellent. Original paint on frame barely worn
means it was a low hour bike. A great rust free AZ desert bike that has been stored indoors for many years. Runs excellent.
Bargain priced at only $2,000.00 ---photos on Budget Racer page and Home page--
1972 Husqvarna 400CR- Has all rebuilt '73 CR400 motor
in it now. Complete powdercoat restoration w/aluminum '75 CR-GP tank, Circle-F pipe, new everything including Progressive
shocks. Beautiful. Over $6K invested. TITLED $4,600.00
1972 Husqvarna 450WR -
Here is one very nice original condition Husky. Most everything on this bike is correct down to the pickle silencer,
aluminum fenders with mudflap, etc. This bike has a nice set of Works Performance shocks on it now, along with an excellent
set of vintage Bridgestone tires. The '72's are very desireable due to the fact that they were Husky's first year left
side shift, yet still looked like a 'vintage' Husky with their steel painted/chrome tank, metal fenders, mudflap, seat,
etc. EXCELLENT original paint tank w/NO dents, Magura levers and grips, grey cables w/oilers, and all chrome (original bars
& forks) is excellent. Runs excellent, and when it comes to these torquey 450 motors, the WR's were BETTER BIKES than
the CR's due to their wide ratio transmission. TITLED $3,800.00
1974 Husqvarna 250WR - Very clean bike
is set up with polished 35mm Betor forks, and an excellent set of vintage Koni shocks at the rear. Correct motor and framed
WR is set up like a CR. Small Husky MX pipe with vintage Skyway silencer, MX white '74 fenders, and alum. airbox. Newer tires,
seat cover, excellent Husky bars, grips, and Magura levers. This bike looks and runs like the 250 CR, but has the wide
ratio gearbox that many racers prefer and a really beautiful early WR tank. Runs excellent, and overall is just a great looking
and performing vintage Husky. $2,900.00
1974 Husqvarna 400CR- Correct motor & frame has
had complete restoration w/restored correct CR tank, Pro-Fab triples, Retro-Rocket pipe, powdercoated frame-forks-wheels-rims,
new everything including Works Performance shocks. Beautiful bike. $4,900.00 see photo
1975 Husqvarna 250CR 'GP Replica'- This is a complete
bike less fenders. Will need restoration, but it is not rusty, aluminum tank is excellent (needs paint), and seat is nice
too. For some reason these '75 GP Works Replica's are very rare, so this is a good one to restore. Like the '68 above,
this was also purportedly a bike from Russ Darnell, but no documentation to support that. Value priced at $1,300.00
1975 Husqvarna
400WR- Correct 6-speed motor in 'mag' frame, Pro-Fab triples, NOS Bassani pipe, aluminum CR tank, Ohlins
shocks, awesome race or show bike. Set up for the taller rider. Very cool vintage legal ride. TITLED $5,000.00
1977 Husqvarna 125CR- A rare and
correctly numbered CR125 in excellent condition. Bike has had a resto back to original. Has a 32mm Mikuni on it now (I'm looking
for the correct little Bing) and missing the original pickle silencer, but otherwise this is a very nice bike that runs great.
'77 is the cut-off year for AHRMA's post vintage class and these CR's are quite competitive, but it might just be a little
too nice to race. $3,800.00
1977 Husqvarna 390CR- Absolutely mint condition show
bike with every trick piece on it you can think of. Was a Factory Husky mechanic's personal race bike. Up-Tite racing pipe.
None more trick or beautiful. Over $6K invested, and it shows. $4,900.00
1978 Husqvarna 390CR- This bike has been fully updated to compete w/big bore Maicos, etc.
Bike has huge Ohlin 40mm Husky forks, triples, and dual-leading-shoe front brake. Ohlin piggyback rear shocks work excellent.
Very nice CR aluminum tank, nice bars, new levers, grips, etc. Best of all, this bike has a full 'works' ported/polished UPTITE
HUSKY racing engine and Uptite nickled race pipe. Bike runs flawlessly and is super fast, handles great, and looks good. Excellent
racer!! $3,000.00
1980 Husqvarna
420CR Works- This is a pre-production CR420 built by Husky Racing USA - San Diego for Scott Hardin's Baja
500 & 1000 races. Pre-production serial numbers, works ported, works 40mm Ohlins suspended, factory works skid plate,
big works Hallman desert aluminum tank is excellent, 3.50x21 vintage front tire. Has huge vent holes in fender for air-cooling
the motor. Renthal vintage aluminum bars. This is a totally unique and unusual bike, and it is BIG too (you are going
to have to be very TALL to ride this monster)! Both front & rear suspension are excellent w/no leaks. Great compression
and spark but I have not run it. I purchased this bike from an ex-employee who worked for and bought it from Husky USA
back in the '80's when Husqvarna Sweden closed down the Husky USA San Diego operation. Husky USA was responsible for
building all of Husqvarna's works desert bikes campaigned by their factory riders. Was then CA titled and desert ridden by him until he put it away and stored many years ago. I also bought a prototype Husqvarna
420 automatic 3-wheeler from him at the same time (already sold it) so I have NO reason not to believe him. Bike is currently
unrestored and has a few cosmetic issues, but overall it is really quite decent. I left it as I got it so you can restore
if so desired, but you may decide not to just like I did. Rare is an understatement, and when was the last time you saw anything
with factory race history priced this low? TITLED $5,900.00
1983 Husqvarna 500CR- This is actually a numbers correct '84 CR500 with the '83 CR aluminum
tank, white/yellow/blue paint theme and bodywork. Bike is not a show bike: it is a heavily modified 500CR with
a custom installed and selected 6-SPEED transmission. Gears have been modified to lock solidly into drive. Perfect gaps between
gear ratios now optimized to engine power. Reconditioned crank. Motor has fresh first over top end with cylinder ports cleaned
up and blue printed. Ohlins suspension rebuilt front & rear. 40mm Ohlins forks with Husky's DLS (dual cam) front brake.
Tires are at 80-90%. Excellent sprockets and gold DID chain. Trick 'works' style beefy aluminum brake pedal. These were
the last of the true Swedish built, air-cooled, drum brake, twin-shock monsters. Bike is brutally fast and has incredible
top-end. Handles very well, but this is not a beginner's bike. It is very tall and is set up for a large, expert level
racer. All work was performed by Husky mechanical expert and this was his personal race bike. $2,900.00
